![]() If that’s the case, expect more news on the port to surface later today, during or following Nintendo’s Switch presentation in Tokyo. The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Wii U and 3DS and, if that wasn’t already enough, recent comments from McMillen could well be hinting at a release on Nintendo Switch, according to Eurogamer. Due to, let’s say, the risque subject matter of Rebirth, Nicalis’ original application to get the title onto Apple’s platform was rejected due to concerns over “unsuitable content.” The request finally went through in October of last year, however. Following Isaac on his journey players will find bizarre treasures that change Isaacs. The iOS version sadly doesn’t include Afterbirth, but the base game should be more than enough to satiate your itch for a meaty roguelike, itself offering 10 playable characters, 50 bosses to beat and over 400 items. Description The Binding of Isaac is a randomly generated action RPG shooter with heavy Rogue-like elements. That was followed by an expansion – Afterbirth – in 2015, with a final add-on having just launched on Steam at the start of 2017. Having started life in 2012 as a pet project of McMillen’s following the release of Super Meat Boy, McMillen teamed up with Nicalis in 2014 to release Rebirth, a remake of sorts that brought with it new visuals, a shed-load of new items, bosses and enemies.
